What you will be doing
Job Description Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates. Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency, and accuracy for improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed. Supports Other Areas of the DC as required or directed. Coach's employees to support their development in the role.

Depending on the assigned area, responsible for:

  • Supervision of daily adjustments, counts, RTS transactions and Transfers from DC to recipient.
  • Strong focus on timely returns processing and reverse logistics
  • Oversees the department staff in counting, weighing and identifying items being shipped.
  • Dims and Weights entered in the ERP system upon new product setups.
  • Maintains all records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials shipped.
  • May interact with customers/account managers for Inventory related questions.
  • Ensures the maintenance of records documenting for cycle counts, physical inventories, stock classes.
  • Responsible for associates in their area of responsibility; tracks attendance, monitors performance and manages overtime.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Support of copacking activities
  • Oversee product destructions.
What your background should look like


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires experience in warehousing and distribution, completion of a postsecondary education program in logistics or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of three (3) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry an asset. Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Exceptional analytical skills and experience analyzing operational data and concepts, such as inventory usage, inventory turns, inventory velocity, cause and effect analysis, root cause analysis, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. organizational and time management skills. Must have ability to work independently. Ability to resolve inventory issues effectively and efficiently. Knowledge of RF to operate effectively within ERP system. Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Certified Class III equipment operator (Reach Truck/Order Picker)What Cencora offers
