Do you have a strong technical background, combined with great leadership skills? If so, this role is for you You will lead a team to effectively develop, execute, and regulate auditing of the terminal's logĂ­stical plans of rail, marine, trucking and pipelines.

Being able to monitor production plan to maximize profitability and ensure timely and on spec production and blending of all the products shipped from the terminal.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or five years relevant production planning and scheduling experience
  • Five years of proven management or leadership experience
  • Five years of comprehensive knowledge of the terminal feedstock, blending, shipping and marine/rail/trucking/pipeline logistics.
  • Proficient with Blending & Scheduling software and technology and understands the impact.

Responsibilities:


  • Ability to maintain effective communications with various groups such as Operations, Product Supply, Rail, Lab, etc.) in an environment of frequently conflicting demands.
  • Confirm Terminal production and inventories are tracked and managed to support supply optimization.
  • Monitor and translate operational choices and deviations to crude and product supply to leverage market opportunities and constraints.
  • Be accountable for timely and accurate reporting of fuels to stakeholders and of the Terminal monthly production report to the financial control department.
  • Lead production, scheduling, and lab team

Location and other Key Details:

  • You will work out of our Burrard Products terminal office located at 1155 Glenayre Drive, Port Moody, British Columbia
  • Hours of work are a regular 40hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
  • This position is safety sensitive
  • Relocation support will be provided

Salary and Compensation Details:
- $135,000 - $145,000 annual salary and an annual incentive program
