We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to fill the role of Inside Sales Representative for our Industrial Chemicals group.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative in the Ontario region reporting into the Sales Manager.

This position contributes to Quadra's success by achieving sales targets as well as developing emerging accounts through sales and marketing initiatives.

The Inside Sales Representative also provides account management support for a portfolio of existing accounts through excellent customer service and identifying sales growth opportunities.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for connecting regularly with established clients, as well as prospecting and qualifying leads.

What will be your main responsibilities?:

  • Acquire and maintain good working knowledge of our product portfolio and services
  • Identify and fully qualify potential new accounts and evaluate sales potential for Quadra products within the assigned territory
  • Build credibility for the company and generate customer trust through professional conduct at all times
  • Through the use of our CRM, fully maintain detailed records of prospects, and customer contacts, sales call, samples and opportunities
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts
  • Complete and submit to the Sales Manager, an updated strategic Territory Plan Report including achievements and plans for future growth. Execute against the aligned plan.
  • Report any changes in business trends, customer concerns, market dynamic sand competitor activity
  • Participate in training to enhance product and sales knowledge
  • Attend sales meetings as directed by the Business Manager and/or Sales Manager
  • Develop and maintain a minimum of 5 key development accounts at all times
  • Plan precall agendas on important accounts in the territory with the Sales Manager
  • Postsecondary diploma and/or bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Commerce, or related field
  • Proven experience in the Chemical Manufacturing, HI&I, Agriculture, and Environmental markets dealing directly with external customers would be an asset
  • Professional experience interacting with customers is preferred
  • Ability and determination to seek out and pursue new business opportunities and make cold calls and prospect over the phone
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Team player accustomed to a fastpaced environment
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently
  • Detailoriented with superior organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Possess a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrate initiative, selfreliance, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to handle pressure
  • Strong computer skills (ideally with a CRM such as Salesforce and be able to work effectively with the Office 365 suite)
  • Ability to motivate oneself, demonstrate autonomy, learn new technologies and adapt to new situations
