HealthShield Pharmacy in VAUGHAN is hiring A spot has opened up to join our family as a Part Time Pharmacy Assistant. We are a high-paced & lively community pharmacy located in a Busy Medical Centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Data entry of patient care information into KROLL Dispensing Software,
- Receiving of wholesaler medication order, pricing, and placing on shelf,
- Third Party adjudication,
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock (expiries, etc.)
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Regular housekeeping of pharmacy (Cleaning, Shredding)
QUALIFICATIONS:

Kroll Experience an Asset;:
-
Must have EXCELLENT communication skills;:
- excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- demonstrated customer service experience;
- strong motivation to succeed;
- proficient computer/data/entry skills.
Salary:
From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
