RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining daily performance expectations
Coordinate/lead civil crew and subcontractors to ensure quality control, and meet project deadlines on time
Maintain good employee morale, communication, and teamwork
Complete employee timesheets for payroll, and other necessary safety or reporting documentation daily
Understand OH&S safe work practices and procedures and ensure they are communicated and followed
Familiarity in working around existing utilities
Determine the priorities of work to be completed and organize employees and subcontractors to efficiently perform tasks
Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees
Provide feedback to supervisors and management on process improvements
Identifying problems and innovation/team coordination

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

3 to 5 years of experience is required in utility construction
Experience with heavy equipment and/or small tools
Have knowledge of OH&S and knowledge of construction disciplines (knowledge of materials and methods required)
Attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Excellent people skills.
