Quality Assurance Technician


As we continue to respond to the requirements of our customers and staff our afternoon/evening shift in our
Sudbury facility, we are excited to advise that we're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician.

This is a busy, team-oriented shop in our _
Northern Ontario_ region that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of shop and branch.
  • General building maintenance;
  • Maintaining and servicing rental equipment, making minor repairs on equipment plus performing preventative maintenance, oil / filter changes;
  • Quality control involving detailed inspection for defects on rental units.
  • Assisting other technicians as needed;
  • Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
  • A selfstarter, with a keen sense of timemanagement and effective planning skills;
  • Good communication and people skills;

Qualifications:


  • Forklift operation experience;
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanics;
  • Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred.

This is an excellent entry-level position for an individual looking to gain experience in a mechanic shop.
