Yard Staff/Coordinator - Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario

Job summary

The Yard Staff/Coordinator assists with inspection of incoming vehicles at assigned Branch location recording and filing information on incoming vehicles being assigned to the facility thoroughly cleaning vehicles to improve their appearance for purposes of enhancing their value at auction operating passenger vehicles in a safe manner for the purposes of moving the vehicles around the facility and/or participating in drive-through auctions numbering preparation and setup for weekly/biweekly auction recovering keys license plates and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and storing them in appropriate locations at branch assisting visitors by providing appropriate guidance directing them to person for additional assistance performing basic fork lift/loader operation adhering to all company policies procedures reading understands documents such as safety rules operating maintenance instructions procedural documents ensuring adherence applicable safety environmental rules provide safe business customers employees remaining alert potential hazards associated heavy equipment operated work area meeting key performance metrics daily weekly monthly goals learning how operate fork lift may not required certain facilities capable interacting effectively supportively customers towers performing light maintenance of vehiclestooping bending standing walking reasonable periods time working varying climates weather conditions walking surfaces inside outside general mechanical knowledge makes models vehicle required function well part team valid drivers license ability operate vehicle may not required certain facilities applying appropriate use security maintenance safety procedures protect Company customer assets personal protective equipment i.e. gloves glasses avoiding accidents recognizing potentially unsafe situations responding appropriately when occur following industry specific regulations related handling hazardous materials acting role model coaches mentors manages team accounting specialists execution department company goals non-people management duties subject change based business needs flexible willing perform tasks assigned.
