Reporting to the President, the Account Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting for new customers, developing relationships and achieving monthly (closed business) sales goals.


We believe that the foundation of our success lies in having top talent on board and we are looking for an energetic sales professional to join our fun and diverse team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Utilize a consultativeselling approach to establish and nurture relationships with executivelevel contacts in corporate portfolio accounts, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Actively participate in industry associations, conferences, and events to expand your professional network, enhance industry credibility, and foster relationships with key decision makers.
  • Conduct both warm and cold calls on a daily basis, demonstrating strong communication and persuasive skills to engage potential clients and generate leads.
  • Establish and maintain a wellorganized sales pipeline, accurately tracking and managing leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using a CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership team by conducting funnel reviews, sharing progress, and discussing strategies to advance pursuits effectively.
  • Utilize LinkedIn and other media platforms to develop and nurture leads, engage with potential clients, and showcase your expertise in the office furniture industry.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), presentations, and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the unique value proposition of the company's offerings.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets, employing effective negotiation skills, and overcoming objections to secure commitments from clients.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience from initial contact to postsales support.
  • Foster longterm customer relationships by providing excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and crossselling.

Requirements:


  • 3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Business is an asset
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quota selling to csuite
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills
  • Creativity, innovation, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills with familiarity of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, Publisher, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Jobber is considered an asset but is not required
  • Ability to work and motivate independently, and be a contributing member of a team
