Responsibilities:

- #1 priority: deliver great customer service to our tenants by maintaining, repairing their apartment quickly, for them to live in & enjoy;
- #2 priority: execute the apartment repair, within 1-2 days after a tenant leaves;

  • Complete the daily task fully;
  • Improve cleanliness and curb appeal of properties on continuing basis;
  • Manually perform: snow, ice, salting removal in winter, and grass cutting in summer;
  • Take care of: all garbage, recycling, for all properties weekly;
  • Perform maintenance of building systems (hvac, electrical, roof, drains, etc)
  • Perform building system maintenance (replace sump pump, unclog drains and sanitary pump, change locks, repair doors, troubleshoot & solve electrical issues, maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems;
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects outside your skill set;
  • Record accurate maintenance activities in the property log;
  • Provide emergency response (alarm, flood, water, tenant issues, etc);
  • Support the construction and renovation teams, as required by management;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs;

Skills:


  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems;
  • Proficiency in electrical work, resolve electrical issues reviewing wiring diagrams and logic controllers;
  • Proficient construction skills including: drywall install, mudding, painting, floor upgrade, door replacement, faucet installation, drain connections, light fixture installation, caulking, etc;
  • Ability to complete various tasks at different properties efficiently;
  • Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs or improvements;
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with tenants and address their maintenance needs;
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to use technology to input and track online task.

Part-time


Salary:
$21.00-$22.00 per hour
