Description

The Opportunity


An integral part of ensuring effective lease and contract management and administration through: the preparation of lease and contract summaries/abstracts, maintenance of a company-wide lease management system, ensuring accurate/complete record keeping and providing timely notice of contract renewals, expiries, etc.


The Role

  • Work closely with the company's Real Estate and Facilities Director
  • Have primary responsibility for administering and maintaining the Lease Management System, including:
  • Accurately and concisely summarizing and cataloging key contract terms;
  • Inputting/uploading data, contract summaries/abstracts and complete contracts onto the system; and
  • Otherwise ensuring the Lease Management Systems provides an accurate, uptodate and accessible record of the company's contractual obligations
  • Communicate/liaise with executives and managers across the company's functional and support groups to:
  • ensure contracts/records are complete and up-to-date;
- gather information and data;
- provide timely notice of contract renewals, expiries, etc., and to help facilitate renewals

  • Perform additional tasks from time to time
  • As the role evolves, take on additional responsibilities as agreed upon
  • Tracking the companies MRO spend

Education:

University degree or college diploma


Work Experience:

A strong background in corporate real estate administration, or other strong corporate legal or administrative experience, spanning at least 5 to 7 years


Knowledge:

Knowledge of database and/or lease or contract management software

Knowledge of corporate real estate concepts
