About the role
We're looking for a
Claims Assistant II in our Ajax office to join our growing team
As a
Claims Assistant II, your work will have a big impact on supporting the customer and your team throughout the claims process.
What you'll do here:
- Accepts and respond to new appraisal assignments
- Dispatch of reinspections and appraisal assignments for staff
- Rely shops and independent appraiser assignments
- Record all information in the system and ensure that complete information is provided on the appraisal request for appraisers
- Maintain effective communication channels with claims department staff and stakeholders
- Work with vendors such as salvage yards to track inventory
- Utilize various systems and programs to efficiently support claims operations in providing a high level of customer service and professionalism.
What you bring to the table:
- Bilingual in English & French is an asset
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of work experience
- Minimum high school diploma required
- University degree or college diploma preferred and/or equivalent business experience
- Ability to consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is an asset
- Experience in vehicle repair industry is an asset
