Work Arrangements:
This is a hybrid role.
You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.
You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

Equitable is growing We are looking for a Digital Content Specialist to join our Corporate Communications team. If you are passionate about developing digital and multimedia content and are a skilled writer, we'd like to hear from you
This position will play an important role in bring our storytelling and brand to life.
The Digital Content Specialist will develop, create, publish, and manage digital content for Equitable's external and internal communication programs and vehicles.
As part of our Corporate Communications team, you will assist in setting long-term strategic goals for Equitable's communications strategies and programs.
Additionally, you will possess experience with web-based content management systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite as well as design and video editing software, file management and transfer systems.
What you will do:
- Develop, create, publish, and manage digital content for Equitable's external and internal communication programs and vehicles (social media, website, news releases, partner communications, intranet site, town halls, presentations etc.).
- Ownership of corporate communications digital content on the SharePoint intranet site and website
- Work with SMEs across the organization to identify and write blog content.
- Work with AVP, Corporate Communications and Philanthropy, team colleagues and lines of business to assist in setting longterm strategic goals for Equitable's communications strategies and programs.
- Work with internal clients to produce digital content to support project objectives.
- Monitor online digital content trends and technologies and identify those that would benefit Equitable; contribute through suggestions for innovative ways of delivering digital content.
What you will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing digital and multimedia content.
- University degree in Communications, Media, Digital marketing, Advertising, Digital Experience or equivalent combination of education and required experience.
- Proficient at telling stories using video, photography, graphics, illustrations, animations, and sound.
- Excellent photography, video production and video editing skills.
- Strong web writing skills and experience with social media, photography, and videography in a corporate environment.
- Excellent verbal communication, influencing and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with the following tools and platforms: webbased content management systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite as well as design and video editing software, file management and transfer systems.
- Ability to work independently with good initiative and judgement.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to support multiple projects at one time.
- Attention to detail and accuracy prioritize with an eye to consistently producing highquality work and meeting deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in both English and French is an asset.
