This exciting opportunity as an FCAT Co-Op student is a perfect pairing for Mechanical Engineering students in Windsor to help support us in the future as we look to reduce our C02 Emissions, study Hydrogen power for our tractors and switch trucks, electric tractors, autonomous driving, and drone delivery.

The FCAT Co-op Student is an onsite role which is located at 2410 Walker Rd, as we are looking for a hardworking, facility and equipment knowledgeable student with a passion to drive change.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Research and data collection, & company sourcing on:
C02 Emissions reduction

Hydrogen power for our tractors and switch trucks, and electric tractors

Autonomous driving and drone delivery

Develop best practices with our team of mechanics

Categorizing part numbers for cost reduction

Basic Qualifications:

Recent graduate from a Mechanical Engineering or related program or currently completing a Mechanical Engineering degree or related program and looking for a full time Co-Op for the Summer 2024

High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability

Exceptional time management, organizational and mediation skills

Advanced computing skill sets

Willingness to work in a team environment

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
