Required Skills:

Relevant technical business analysis experience in the financial markets (investment banking/management)
Data integration and data migration experience
Understanding of data management in a front/middle/backoffice context
Strong understanding of data modeling, nested structures, json & avro formats
Strong data analysis and SQL Skills
Experience with SPARK, Elastic Search/Kibana (ELK), Kafka
Strong to intermediate understanding with some experience in Python and/or Scala
Proficient in tools such as Postman, Jupyter, Dremio
Experience with SDLC, Agile development methodologies and SDLC development practices and JIRA

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis by accessing data from upstream strategic data sources and loading to the platform
Perform data queries, mapping, gap analysis and data reconciliations between legacy and strategic data source systems and downstream consumers
Actively participate in planning and executing QA and UAT activities
Create and maintain high quality documentation for Functional Requirements including the production and analysis of data sets, flow diagrams and workflows
Manage traceability of business requirements to Test Plan / Results
Assist in project execution through JIRA, providing tracking to technical teams and status and milestone updates to internal and business stakeholder.
