- Execute recreational services as outlined in the Care/Service Plan
- Advocate for residents and facilitate their involvement
- Conduct audits and reports, ensuring the delivery of recreational services aligns with the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan
- Assist residents in addressing personal leisure barriers
- Adhere to Emergency Management, Infection Control, WHMIS, and Health & Safety protocols
- Support daily life activities within the community
- Engage in projects and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain relevant certifications
- Demonstrate patient leadership and strong team-oriented behaviors
- Act as a professional motivator, coach, and mentor
- Hold valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Possess a clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check
