Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Food and Beverage Supervisor will have the opportunity to lead the operations and the food & beverage team of the Jackson Café by Norca located in the Ottawa Art Gallery.

• Manage service staff at the café
• Optimize guest satisfaction with regards to service
• Participate to coaching and training staff reflecting Groupe Germain service standards
• Provide guidance and support to the Servers
• Schedule staff according to forecasts
• Maintain inventories and ensure equipment is in working order
• Ensure quality levels and maintain quality standards in production, service, and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate Group and individual reservations
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices
• Liaise regularly with other departments
• Organize food and beverage events, promotions and advertising

• Previous supervision experience required
• Knowledge of current employment laws & health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Bilingual French and English
