Role
The SAP Functional Analyst role is tasked with supporting the Company s Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP) system.

This role will promote the understanding of functional processes with in the SAP system, create training programs, support testing new functionality rolled out through the organization and support the new SAP implementation rollout.

As with any system, there will also be the security requirements to ensure the system maintains appropriate segregation of duties that the analyst will maintain.

This role is based out of the Vancouver Corporate Office and will report the Sr. Director, Business Controls, ERP and Risk.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and promote SAP training in the core modules that are implemented, MM (purchasing), Finance and Controlling.
  • Review and maintain segregation of duties matrix, validating roles assigned to users to ensure that segregation of duties conflicts do not arise due to assignment of roles or delevelopment of roles.
  • Facilitates new module implementation and support operation in SAP operation to enhance the company s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders satisfaction
  • Work with business partners to resolve processing issues, problems and/or enhancements.
  • Research SAP tile customization to promote efficiencies in processing data into SAP.
  • Research reports that would support costing and management of budgets for managers promote and train users of the information provided.
  • Review and maintain detailed business process blueprint documentation.
  • Maintain documentation such as functional and technical specification, and testing scripts and results (unit/integration/UAT/regression)
  • Acts as liaison with key users for troubleshooting, investigates, analyzes, and solves SAP software problems.
  • Provides userlevel consultation, which is not limited to coaching, resolution of issues and analysis of issues to establish if there is a case for configuration changes or business process change requests via enhancement or improvements requests
  • Provide innovative and creative solutions that achieve quality and process improvements.
  • Produce functional and technical design for configuring, where required.
  • Prepare, document and support all project roll out activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Over ten (10) years of SAP experience.
  • SAP documentation and training experience.
  • SAP project roll out experience and understanding of SAP architecture.
  • Knowledgable of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, among others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Selfmotivated individual with strong work ethics.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills with ability to lead and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Results oriented and demonstrates a cando attitude adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills and must be able to cope with multiple tight deadlines.
