    Introduction

    We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Relations Coordinator to join our client's team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, located near West Island, Montreal, QC.

    The Supplier Relations Coordinator play a vital role in managing relationships and contracts with suppliers in Latin America and potentially other key sourcing regions. This position involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless procurement operations and meet customer expectations effectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in sourcing, procuring, and managing suppliers and vendors.
    • Communicate with strategic suppliers, track contract status, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Support the operational execution of the procurement process, working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Oversee contract management and execution, providing timely updates to relevant parties.
    • Provide administrative support to the Procurement Manager, including contract coordination and data collection.
    • Monitor and ensure vendor performance in quality, on-time deliveries, and other key metrics.
    • Support resolution of supplier disputes and communication of material and packaging issues.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on planning, allocation, and food safety.
    • Coordinate new products & services launches, supporting the Safety & Quality Assurance department as needed.
    • Organize regular meetings with key strategic suppliers to review program performance.
    • Prepare purchase and reports for the commercial team.
    • Provide front-line procurement services and support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.
    • Some international travel may be required.

    Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Economics.
    • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Operationally minded with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
    • Motivated, organized, and effective time management skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
    • Collaborative and flexible team player with a service-oriented attitude.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
    • SAP ERP experience is an asset.
