Overview:


This Clinical Research Recruitment Assistant role will be based in Toronto, ON (North York) and is a full time position.

The Role

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the prescreening process, including conducting initial phone screenings and administering prescreening questionnaires.
  • Collect demographic information and schedule appointments for potential participants, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of potential participants and their screening outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, organizing recruitment materials.
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure smooth communication and coordination of recruitment efforts.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to work, willingly taking on new projects and tasks as they arise.
  • Adapt communication style and approach to accommodate clients with memory problems or cognitive challenges, ensuring information is conveyed in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Foster a culture of healthy communication within the team by actively promoting open dialogue, respect, and collaboration.
  • Take proactive steps to achieve or exceed assigned targets, utilizing effective recruitment strategies, time management, and problemsolving skills.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, healthcare administration) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare settings is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working with individuals with memory impairment or cognitive challenges.
  • Ethical and professional demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask efficiently.
