In this role you will be responsible for driving marketplace growth by acquiring new Vendors and fostering strong relationships with existing marketplace partners and suppliers.
Inside Sales Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
- Communicates with potential and existing customers, makes outbound calls, and follows up on leads
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Builds opportunity pipeline and records in CRM
- Supports the semiannual renewal cycle by contacting customers, reviewing existing and new product solutions, and works towards securing the renewal
- Explains and performs customer demonstrations of products and services and answers customer questions
- Promotes product lines, and identifies upselling opportunities by gaining a deep understanding of their customer's needs
- Assists in gathering and recording various reporting inputs (examples: Marketplace trends, website pricing)
- Responding to customer concerns and driving for resolution, including escalation to sales leadership where appropriate
- Achieves retention targets within assigned customer group by building strong relationships with customers throughout the contract period
- Other duties as assigned
We'd love to see:
- 1 year experience working in a sales oriented role, preferably in B2B agribusiness or agriculture adjacent industry
- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to present product information in person and virtually
- Selfmotivated and driven to perform in a virtual environment
- Comfortable direct selling over the phone
