Job Summary:

The Concrete Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the concrete division of a construction company.

This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising all concrete-related activities, as well as ensuring that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

The Concrete Manager will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with project managers to determine concrete needs for projects
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules for concrete work
  • Ensure that all concrete work is completed in accordance with project specifications and design plans
  • Oversee the selection, training, and management of concrete crews and subcontractors
  • Ensure that all concrete work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Manage the ordering and delivery of concrete materials to job sites
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of all concrete forms and molds
  • Conduct inspections of completed concrete work to ensure that it meets quality standards
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that project goals are met
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all concreterelated activities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on concrete work
  • Proven track record of managing and supervising concrete crews and subcontractors
  • Indepth knowledge of concrete construction techniques and materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Demands:

The Concrete Manager may be required to work in outdoor environments and must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.

They must also be able to lift and carry heavy objects and equipment.

Working Conditions:

The Concrete Manager may work in both office and construction site environments, and may be required to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines.

They must also be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
