Ingénieur(e) logiciel II, Structure

Bentley investit dans la prochaine génération de son portefeuille de logiciels d'analyse et de conception structurales, reconnu comme chef de file dans l'industrie. Nous recherchons un(e) développeur(euse) logiciel en génie structural passionné(e) par la création d'applications d'ingénierie de calibre commercial utilisées par des professionnels partout dans le monde. Dans ce rôle, vous contribuerez directement à l'évolution de nos moteurs d'analyse principaux, à l'implantation et au maintien des normes de conception internationales, ainsi qu'au développement de capacités novatrices d'analyse et de conception sur lesquelles des dizaines de milliers d'ingénieur(e)s en structure comptent chaque jour.

Responsabilités

Développer, améliorer et maintenir les modules principaux de génie structural, avec un accent particulier sur l'analyse par éléments finis (AEF).
Traduire la théorie du génie structural et les exigences des normes de conception en algorithmes logiciels fiables.
Développer et maintenir des cas de référence de vérification et validation (V&V) ainsi que des tests de régression.
Documenter clairement les hypothèses d'ingénierie, les algorithmes et les limites pour les parties prenantes internes et externes.
Collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires, incluant des ingénieur(e)s logiciel, l'assurance qualité, la gestion de produits et le soutien technique.

Qualifications Requises

Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie structural, en génie civil ou dans un domaine connexe.
Minimum de 4 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du génie structural ou civil.

Excellente compréhension des principes du génie structural/civil et solide formation en mathématiques.
Expérience dans l'interprétation et l'application de normes de conception structurale telles que AISC, ACI, IS, Eurocodes, etc.
Maîtrise d'au moins un des langages de programmation suivants : C++, C#, FORTRAN, Python.
Solides compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes.
Capacité à communiquer clairement des concepts techniques complexes.

Expérience préalable en développement logiciel.
Connaissance de techniques avancées d'analyse par éléments finis, par exemple l'analyse non linéaire (non-linéarité matérielle, géométrique ou de contact).
Expérience avec des logiciels d'analyse avancée tels que ADINA, ANSYS.

Software Engineer II, Structural

Bentley is investing in the next generation of its industry‑leading structural analysis and design portfolio. We're seeking a Structural Engineering Software Developer with a strong passion for building commercial‑grade engineering applications used by professionals worldwide. In this role, you will contribute directly to advancing our core analysis engines, implement and maintain international design codes, and develop innovative analysis and design capabilities that tens of thousands of structural engineers rely on every day.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain the core structural engineering modules with an emphasis on finite element analysis. .
Translate structural engineering theory and design code requirements into reliable software algorithms.
Develop and maintain verification and validation (V&V) benchmarks and regression tests
Document engineering assumptions, algorithms, and limitations clearly for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, quality assurance, product management, and technical support.

What Are The Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4 years of working experience in Structural / Civil Engineering domain.

What You Bring To The Team

Thorough understanding of structural/civil engineering principles with a strong mathematical background.
Experience interpreting and using strutural engineering design codes such as AISC, ACI, IS, Eurocodes etc.
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, C#, FORTRAN, Python
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

What Would Make You Stand Out

Prior experience in software development
Exposure to advanced FEA analysis techniques. E.g. Nonlinear analysis (material, geometric, or contact nonlinearity)
Prior experience with advanced analysis programs such as ADINA, ANSY
