BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Completion of Post-Secondary
- Experience:
- Currently the opening is afternoon shift however, ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends is required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety, quality, and throughput
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong problemsolving and conflict management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management & Information Systems, Applied Engineering Science, Packaging Engineering, or Business Mgmt.
- Experience:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Safety and MP&L experience preferred
- Knowledge of constraint management principles
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)

- Develop strong working relationship with Operations and Unifor Business Partners to jointly deliver business results
- Administer Collective Agreement provisions and Company policies
- Facilitate crew meetings
- Implement activities related to workforce planning, including providing direction and support in the allocation of resources (e.g., work plans / instructions, accountability, training) in order to appropriately cover material handling responsibilities, overtime and vacation administration / scheduling, etc
- Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work
- Create a conducive work environment for employees to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
- Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution
- Build employee capability, communication & recognition
- Responsible for the daily material handling functions for the facility
- Ensure proper material flow from receiving dock, to warehouse storage location, to the delivery of product to customers
- Ensure flawless flow of parts through proactive planning and crossfunctional communication
- Effectively implement the Engineering Change Process
- Identify data gaps and implement corrective actions
- Ensure administration of fundamental supervisory responsibilities and corresponding documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
