- Oversee day‑to‑day project operations and provide guidance and support to field and office staff
- Review and interpret project contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure full understanding of scope and deliverables
- Conduct detailed material takeoffs and prepare orders ahead of project start‑up
- Create purchase orders for approval and ensure timely delivery of required materials
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, milestones, and labour requirements
- Prepare and process change orders, site instructions, and cost adjustments as needed
- Manage project billing cycles, including monthly progress claims and monitoring cash flow
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and clear communication throughout each project
- Participate in site meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and resource needs
- Identify potential challenges early and implement proactive solutions to avoid delays or cost impacts
- Red Seal in relevant industry is a strong asset
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle to get to and from various work sites
- Must be able to obtain a clear RCMP background check
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management is required
- Experience within Plumbing or HVAC is preferred, though experience in a related construction industry will also be considered
- Excellent communication and people management
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work autonomously and lead multiple projects with competing timelines
- Confident and composed when navigating stressful situations or resolving conflicts
- Reliable and dependable — leads by example
- Approachable and available to support the team where needed
- Fast learner who is self‑directed and does not require micromanagement
