    Your OpportunityOur Winnipeg office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights Group and own the following responsibilities:

    • Prepare compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
    • Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to client requests
    • Preparation of trust returns and trust working papers
    • Preparation of tax returns (T1s, T2s, T4s, T5s, UHT,GST/HST and charity returns)
    • Ensuring that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement
    • Following up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, UHT, business numbers

      Your experience and education
    • CPA designation (or equivalent) or working towards your CPA (not mandatory)
    • You have a degree and/or diploma in accounting, finance or relevant field.
    • You have 3+ years of accounting experience in the public accounting industry or relevant work experience
    • You have experience with bookkeeping, compilations, and preparing tax returns
    • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
