Description

We're on the lookout for an Industrial Electrician to add some electrically charged brilliance to our client's Maintenance Team in Guelph —because fixing things is our kind of current affair
Analyze architectural drawings and electrical code specifications for understanding.
Create and evaluate electrical circuits, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Ensure optimal performance and proper illumination of electrical equipment.

Perform maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment, such as electrical transmission lines, motors, generators, distribution, and plant equipment.

Possibility of conducting preventive maintenance programs.
Technical school training and successful completion of the apprenticeship program.
Holds a valid electrician license (309A or 442A).
Proficient in interpreting schematic drawings to identify and resolve equipment issues as specified in pre-maintenance work orders.
Collaborates effectively with production crews, offering detailed instructions to prevent recurring breakdowns.

Capable of taking precise measurements using high voltage testing equipment and applying Electrical Code formulas to determine cable sizes.

Straight Weekend Shift - Straight Nights Sunday to Thursday
