About the Opportunity:


  • Sperling Industries Ltd. is seeking an individual to join our team as a _
    _Project Manager__. _
  • Sperling Industries specializes in the execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects involving structural and mechanical trades. We have clients in the agrifood, electrical transmission, meat processing and industrial sectors. We strive to retain employees for the long term and believe in maintaining mutually beneficial relationships that enable our company to grow simultaneously with our employees._

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Work with the design/detailers, project management team and customers directly to fully understand project requirements and customer needs
  • Create, draft and submit estimates to customers
  • Monitor project status as it flows through fabrication and assist as questions arise
  • Coordinate field installation and repair work through field scheduling
  • Monitor and communicate regularly with existing and new customers
  • Streamline and consolidate internal processes and procedures

About You:

Moreover, you have a strong mechanical aptitude and take pride in the work you do. Lastly, you have an inquisitive mind for continuous learning, and a desire for professional growth with success in mind.


Required Skills, Qualifications and education:


  • Ability to travel across borders with a valid Canadian passport
  • Ability to read drawings and communicate graphically
  • Some experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Tekla Structures would be beneficial
