Your Role:

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist


Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy services in a psychedelicassisted environment, leading the way in a revolutionary therapeutic approach.
• Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their unique needs and goals.
• Be ready to offer crisis intervention when necessary, showcasing your ability to provide support during challenging moments.
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals facing mental or emotional concerns, creating a safe and compassionate space for healing.
• Thoroughly document client history, including health conditions, to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Treat patients with the utmost respect and dignity, recognizing the significance of their transformative journey.
• Develop, review, and implement treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.
• Share information with patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment goals, fostering transparency in their healing process.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records using our in house EMR.
• Actively engage in ongoing training to meet all certification standards and credentialing policies, ensuring you remain at the forefront of this evolving field.

Beyond individual therapy, there are opportunities to develop and lead groups.

These groups can include integration groups for those who have completed psychedelic-assisted therapy protocols or any other groups that would help potential clients gain exposure to our clinic and the suite of innovative treatment options we offer.

Your Experience and Education
Registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Total of 40 hours per week

1.5 days in office in Markham, Ontario

Other days are via zoom

- one-on-one therapy: 5 years (preferred)
- psychedelic training or experience


Licence/Certification:

• CRPO Designation (preferred)

Salary:
$60.00-$70.00 per hour
