Halifax Seed is searching for a talented individual looking to engage their skills on our Sales Team as a
Professional Turf Representative.

If you love working in a fast-paced environment for a family owned, maritime business, this is the position for you As a member of the Halifax Seed Team you will provide expert level technical and sales support to our Atlantic Canadian customers.

Halifax Seed prides itself and its team members on being solution oriented and supporting the turf and green industries. You will provide guidance and advice to customers based on their needs, while representing a variety of product classes. Your experience in the industry will provide you with a unique insight to the special set of growing challenges our customers face on the Canadian East Coast, early freeze, winter rains, and drought-ridden summers; your experience will help guide professional turf growers across the Maritimes

Your main roles will include working to understand customers' product requirements on a seasonal basis, diagnose and solve turf and soil issues while building relationships with clients that focus on right products, right time, right place.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Professional turf management experience in the fields of golf, sod growing or professional maintenance
• Turf Management designation or accreditation (considered an asset)
• Valid driver's license as travel is required
• Enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills
• Detail Oriented
• Team Player
• Ability and willingness to learn and multitask
• Flexibility in rapidly changing environment
