- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, partnering with other teams to capitalize on potential business.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales promotions and campaigns.
- Regularly report on sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Travel to meet with clients and attend industrial show events as required.
- Bachelor's degree (equivalent) or higher in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the automation products.
- It is an asset that the sales experience in process control software or industrial technology such as (please specify one or two industrial technologies),
- Proven track record in sales management with demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
- Knowledge of local business practices and regulations.
