- Liaise directly with clients and maintain business relationships
- Prepare proposal submissions including pricing, agreements, and/or response to RFPs
- Prepare or supervise the design of institutional buildings including education, recreation, health care, municipal, and commercial projects, as well as other types of buildings such as industrial and transportation
- Investigate, survey and audit sites for design projects or Studies
- Manage and work with the project team from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to construction completion including tender and construction/contract administration
- Ensure compliance to the quality assurance and control program
- Prepare technical reports
- Prepare and write specifications
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Project planning including design schedule, and proposed construction schedules
- Ensure compliance to the quality assurance and control program
