Construction Carpenter - New Glasgow, Canada - BRIGGS ROOFING AND SIDING LIMITED
Description
Responsibilities:
- Determine the most appropriate tools, equipment, and machinery to do a construction job.
- Perform complex physical tasks involving heavy lifting.
- Use tools such as hammers, snips, drills, compressors, air nail guns, and electrical tools.
- Work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Communicate with supervisors and other workers by using radio equipment or giving hand signals.
- Make small repairs or adjustments to equipment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Plymouth, NS B0K 1S0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- construction: 1 year (required)
