Total Hours of Work per Term:180 hours per TA


Position Summary:

Responsibilities may include:

  • Grading essays and exams in consultation with instructor
  • Maintaining regular office hours for meeting students
  • Assists in invigilation of midterm and final exams

Qualifications:

  • Excellent spoken and written English and knowledge of French an asset
  • Solid grounding in Humanities and/or Social Sciences, including Anthropology, Sociology, Human Geography, Law, Philosophy, History and in Environmental Studies
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Previous participation in MSE courses as a student or TA an asset
  • Demonstrated experience with the use of a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx]
  • Familiarity with MyCourses, and Powerpoint
  • Hourly Salary:
