Outside Sales Representative with relevant industry experience to join our enthusiastic and energetic team in Cambridge
Key Relationship:
Internal:
Inside Sales/Order Desk, QC Manager, Credit Manager
External:
Customers/Clients
Role Purpose:
Responsible for prospecting, researching and leads generated through marketing efforts to fill sales funnel

Sales Execution:
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Makes sure that the leads generated results into sale deals and closures.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead followup
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within assigned territory
- Promote products and services to clients and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits
Client/Customer Relationship:
- Initiate and build strong rapport and relationships with new and existing client base from small business to executive level clients, growing network of client opportunities.
- Develop extensive account and relationship growth strategies to gain insider status towards growing new business within prospect accounts.
- Leverage the full suite of Fasteners products and all of assets and relationships to develop and uncover business opportunities.
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
Other Duties:
- Provides feedback and product insights to help deliver better customer success strategies and customer solutions.
Social media:
- Troubleshoot customer issues and provide solutions by working with key internal contact.
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved, whether customer service, operational or personnel related to the appropriate department
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows, conference calls and webinars
- Commit to a cycle of continual learning about products, services and selling skills and technique
Education, Skills, Experience & Training Required:
- 2-5 years of business/sales/consulting experience preferable in Fastener Industry
- Track record of overachieving sales targets.
- Creative thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional communication, written and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Organized, independent and resourceful in maintaining data.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
Full time. Monday through Friday. 8am-4:30pm.
