Position Summary

Duties
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment of study participants (e.g. identifying, screening potential participants & obtaining informed consent);
  • Assisting/coordinating all aspects of study visits (e.g. documentation of adverse events & medications, administration of questionnaires, reviewing & assessing studyrelated documents;
  • Liaising with external stakeholders & members of the clinical care team;
  • Implementing and coordinating all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines;
  • Executing studyrelated administrative tasks, such as completion of relevant study CRFs, logs, trackers, databases, etc.;
  • Provide support for monitoring /audits and regulatory inspections. The Clinical Research Analyst must be able to interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance during the conduct of the study.
  • In addition, the Clinical Research Analyst requires strong scientific writing skills and experience with research abstracts, poster presentations, and manuscript preparation and submission. A foundational understanding of statistics will be required.

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor's degree program or recognized equivalent in Health or Science Related Discipline. Graduate degree preferred
  • Certification as a Clinical Research Professional an asset
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a research environment.
  • A foundational understanding of statistics will be required.
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable clinical research regulations, policies, and guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Experience working with databases, and speaking with patients/ participants
