Position Summary

Duties
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Recruitment of study participants (e.g. identifying, screening potential participants & obtaining informed consent);
Assisting/coordinating all aspects of study visits (e.g. documentation of adverse events & medications, administration of questionnaires, reviewing & assessing studyrelated documents;
Liaising with external stakeholders & members of the clinical care team;
Implementing and coordinating all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines;
Executing studyrelated administrative tasks, such as completion of relevant study CRFs, logs, trackers, databases, etc.;
Provide support for monitoring /audits and regulatory inspections. The Clinical Research Analyst must be able to interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance during the conduct of the study.
In addition, the Clinical Research Analyst requires strong scientific writing skills and experience with research abstracts, poster presentations, and manuscript preparation and submission. A foundational understanding of statistics will be required.

Qualifications

At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor's degree program or recognized equivalent in Health or Science Related Discipline. Graduate degree preferred
Certification as a Clinical Research Professional an asset
At least two (2) years of experience in a research environment.
A foundational understanding of statistics will be required.
Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable clinical research regulations, policies, and guidelines
Excellent organizational and time management skills required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
Experience working with databases, and speaking with patients/ participants
