Medical Office Manager - Ottawa, Canada - Cosmetic Medical Clinic

We are offering a position for a Full-time Medical Office Manager. Experience of at least ten years in medical administration, human resources, and information technology are expected. Understanding privacy policies is required, while knowledge of OHIP billing would be an asset.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee the daytoday operation of the clinic, including scheduling and optimizing office efficiencies.
• Act as a clinical resource for all staff.
• Assist in problemsolving and issues management with staff, physicians, patients, visitors, families and community service providers, ensuring positive relationships are built.
• Ensure patients flow through the clinic efficiently and effectively, managing demand and capacity.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare and/or relevant work experience
• Very strong command of both spoken and written English
• Exceptional administrative and customer service skills
• Exceptional multitasking and organization skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
• Proven leadership abilities, communication skills and excellent time management skills with the ability to change priorities as needed
• Proficient in MS Office software
• Knowledge of medical terminology
