- Lead the preparation of the project's Emergency Support Group (ESHIA) and EMP
- Develop and implement the Regulatory Compliance Plan and Environmental Management Plan
- Collaborate with the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Manager to support project-related Environmental & Regulatory activities
- Ensure timely acquisition of necessary project permits/licenses/approvals
- Provide guidance on environmental, socioeconomic, and health requirements to project design and execution teams
- Review and approve E&R plans submitted by EPC contractors
- Monitor EMP implementation and E&R performance
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with technical experts for specialized E&R tasks
- Participate in environmental training sessions for project workers

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Environmental Regulatory Advisor for a prestigious multinational client in the oil & gas industry located in Bonnyville, AB. This is a full-time 9-month contract with the potential for extension.
The Environmental/Regulatory Advisor serves as the primary contact for all environmental and regulatory issues, overseeing programs related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Applicants should have a University degree in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience in environmental, socioeconomic, or health fields, ideally in construction or extractive industries, is preferred. Knowledge of external project financing is a plus. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of local languages is beneficial.
