POSITION SCOPE:


  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical/cosmetic documentation principles processes.
  • Sound knowledge of GMP/GDP, FDA and Health Canada guidelines and regulations.
  • Good documentation practices in accordance with the current industry requirements.
  • Ability to organize, interpret and analyze data drawing rational and logical conclusions.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control laboratory sample flow, as well as, raw material and finished product release procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:


  • Check and approve quality control documentation related to raw material, bulk and finished product testing and release.
  • Analyze documentation for completeness, accuracy, legibility and adherence to the good documentation practice.
  • Assess all steps of product testing including sample/standard preparation, adherence to the methodology and validity of calculations.
  • Perform electronic records checks associated with instrument and processing methods characteristics, chromatograms, software entries and system suitability criteria.
  • Prepare monthly reports and evaluate the trend related to number and type of discrepancies found in quality control documentation.
  • Constantly check and analyze "first time right" documentation and testing principles.
  • Archive laboratory note books and all other related documents in an orderly and traceable fashion keeping them ready for internal and external inspections when required.
  • Analyze existing SOPs related to documentation making sure they are in trend with the current regulatory requirements and in accordance with the company working procedures.
  • Be an essential part of deviation, CAPAs and change control activities.
  • Continuously perform training/education activities of group members.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Fulfil other departmental duties that may be required

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
university/college degree in science with 1-2 years of experience within pharmaceutical/cosmetic industry.

ability to analyze and take a decision is required
