Distribution Coordinator - Afternoon Shift

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Traffic Supervisor, the Distribution Coordinator manages the CHEP and other pallet control systems, handles all invoicing, general office related duties, acts as a back-up for the shipping supervisors and provides inventory control and administrative support for the department.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain computerized pallet entry records companywide;
Tender through the TSM system all carrier pickup;
General monthly transaction listing for customers and suppliers;
Liaise with all locations to direct pallet returns;
Act as a backup for the Shipping supervisors;
Consolidate all customer deliveries with products from our sister facilities;
Responsible for dealing with returned and recalled product;
Complete HACCP documentation including preoperational check sheets, room audit sheets and employee facility audits.

Requirements:

Post secondary education is an asset;
Strong detail orientation required;
Intermediate level experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel);
Well organized, accurate and conscientious;
Can work in a high paced environment;
