Now that the company is well-capitalized, e-Zinc is now looking to expand its talented team to bring its technology to market to support the renewable energy transformation.


Opportunity:


This team will be working on assembling components of our battery technology through reading blueprints and mechanical directions for both assembly and repairs.

While reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, this role is based in Etobicoke, Ontario.


Position scope and responsibilities:


  • Assemble components by interpreting blueprints created by design team
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to spot potential issues
  • Report repairs
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, repairs, and correct issues

Qualifications

  • Experience in a machine shop
  • Experience with soft metals and plastics
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Understanding of basic blueprints and drawings
  • Have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Motivated by challenges and a fastpaced startup environment
  • Can work independently
  • Passionate, dedicated, and selfmotivated with deep attention to detail
