Team Lead - Pipeline Condition Assessment to join our growing North American Water practice.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Collaboration with other Team Leaders, Regional Environment Market Leaders, Service Line Leaders, and Business Group Leaders to support linear condition assessment and rehabilitation projects across North America and overseas.
- Build and mentor a team that is engaged and driven to provide highquality results and solutions to our clients' projects and challenges
- Maintain a high external profile through membership/attendance in industry organizations, continually growing contact base
- Maintain high internal profile through water project pursuits, wins, and delivery
- Crosscollaboration across GHD's Business Groups and Service Lines to promote seamless client delivery
- Support proposal development to win targeted pursuits, which leverage GHD's capabilities and value proposition
- Technical project management and direction while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring projects are delivered safely and within scope, schedule, and budget
What you will bring to the team:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in managing and delivering pipeline condition assessment projects is a must.
- Experience understanding historical and current design standards.
- Experience in interpreting pipe inspection findings into pipeline asset management delivery product.
- Experience in automated decisionmaking processes and assessment of largescale pipeline network Experience in rehabilitation projects, based on trenchless technologies is preferred.
- Your experience of providing technical recommendations for programs and portfolios as well as writing and crafting proposals for projects
- Proven experience in Survivor analysis and engineering statistics.
- Knowledge and experience in pipe failure forensic analysis, pipe mechanics, stress analysis and failure theories are beneficial.
- Up to date on current best practices, inspection technologies, and suitable methods for different pipe materials.
- Experience in 3D nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) of cylindrical shell is also preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Advanced degree in Civil, Mechanical, Water Resource Engineering, or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation related projects or 6 years of relevant experience combined with a doctoral degree related and/or overlaps with a pipeline condition assessment.
- Professional Engineer
- PE (US) or P.Eng. (Canada)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff
