THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements:
Product Owner - Strategy Team
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate goal setting via a shortterm roadmap and technical priority setting with product
- Work with scrum master and team lead(s) to set release objectives inclusive of technical
- Identify risks to achieving delivery objectives and fendoff technical debt / rework
- Lead and/or facilitate demonstrations at the end of each development iteration for what the collective team has accomplished, inclusive of technical enabler work, if appropriate
- Signoff on delivery, own metrics for accomplishing delivery objectives as agreed to with team
- Drive "under promise / over deliver" paradigm such that additional objects can be pulled in to an effort, but guard tightly against agreed objectives being pushed out
- Identify and escalate roadblocks impeding progress or putting objectives at further risk
- Manage working list of objectives, sequencing, and prioritization in consult with team lead(s)
- Cofacilitate planning around the objectives (work breakdown) with scrum master on a given set of objectives; reorganize objective priorities as needed
- Work with scrum master and team lead(s) to derive features and associated acceptance criteria as the result of planning
- Support team lead(s) on story creation; ensure appropriate acceptance criteria and definition of done
- Work with QA to establish userbased test cases as part of definition of done
- Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success to ensure highest value delivery objectives
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or experience with leadership in this field
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, coach, develop and execute
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate, and integrate with others
- Conversant in modern web and database technologies
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and stakeholder influence and alignment
- Extensive knowledge of Customer, Vendor, Service Provider and other supply chain actors business transactional needs, systems, organizational structures, and processes
Job Summary
This role requires 5+ years' experience in acceptance testing and coordination of releases.
