Your Opportunity

Our Atlantic Canada offices are looking for a Tax Technician to join the Domestic Tax team and own the following responsibilities:

Prepare simple and complex personal and corporate tax returns for a variety of clients
Review simple tax returns prepared by coops and junior staff
Communicate with CRA and the client to resolve tax inquiries
Act as a leader within the team, engage in training and coach members of the team
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates on an ongoing basis
Build relationships directly with clients to understand tax history and provide the most value for ongoing tax compliance needs

Your experience and education

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience preparing Canadian Tax returns in a professional environment
You have experience working with a Tax preparation software ie. TaxPrep
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
You thrive in an extremely high volume, fast paced environment with tight deadlines
