  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Report to the Manager, Enterprise Applications.
  • You'll be accountable in making sure your team is meeting defined SLA's, leading the team in the successful secure, performant operation of all applications and systems within the portfolio.
  • You'll evaluate design and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational need.
  • You'll adhere to AMA policy on application security operating procedures and protocols.
  • You'll constructively challenge and improve security practices throughout the portfolio.
  • You'll participate in the design of the overall Enterprise Applications strategic/tactical plan with a goal towards adding sustainable value to the business in alignment with customer needs.
  • You'll act as an advocate for continuous improvement in all areas of your portfolio.
  • You'll ensure that you and your team consistently produce quality products and service.
  • You'll serve as the ultimate escalation point for problems within your respective area, driving problem resolution.
  • WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate field like Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in relevant application systems analysis, implementation, support and development.
  • You have at least 2 years of leadership experience as a Senior Technical Analyst.
  • You have at least 2 years' experience leading projects and teams.
  • You have experience with business process design and documentation.
  • You have experience with SQL administration, SQL scripting, SSRS/Power BI reports building, Web Services, API consumption.
  • You have experience with supporting all flavors of applications on Legacy, VM, Cloud, SaaS platforms. Ensuring core technologies are operational, regularly patched and adhering with all relevant customer performance and security requirements (Contact center solutions, Knowledge Base application, Call Receiving/Dispatch systems, Integrated Voice Response Systems. Customer search systems and etc.).
  • You have experience with vendor management.
  • Understanding of network, operating systems, virtualization, high-availability, platform management, multi-platform environments, database environments & API Manager will be an asset.
  • Agile (Lean, SCRUM, Kanban) certification would be an asset.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, for both technical and business issues.
