- Offer expert advice and consultation to bolster safety performance and drive continuous improvement aligned with corporate objectives.
- Conduct thorough investigations, analyze safety metrics, and provide timely documentation to support decision-making.
- Manage injury claims and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Facilitate safety-related training and assist in developing site-specific safety plans as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design strategic initiatives and enhance client interactions.
- Evaluate field safety conditions, recommend operational improvements, and actively reduce organizational risks.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare compliance reports, and support audits and inspections.
- Identify opportunities to enhance safety systems, mitigate hazards, and foster a culture of safety among employees and contractors.
- Degree, diploma, or certification in HSE, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles
- Essential experience in rail and construction industries.
- Experience in injury management and field safety auditing.
- Willingness to travel, mainly within Canada.
