    Role and Responsibilities

    CAE Pelesys is looking for Product Support Specialist's to work with our Customer Support Team

    The role we are offering you:

    In this role the person is responsible for supporting and maintaining complex systems that support business operations. They work closely with project managers, software developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the system meets the needs of the organization.

    Here are some of the responsibilities of a Systems Specialist:

  • Monitoring / Debugging installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Installing, configuring and testing operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks, identifying possible solutions, and working with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
  • Participating in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • A Systems Engineer typically requires a minimum of six years of experience working in an IT-based role, such as an IT Technician.
  • Our ideal candidate has:

  • SQL (Execute and Write) SQL virtual machines, SQL servers
  • IIS
  • Python
  • HTML / AWS Servers / Microsoft Azure
  • Database Management
  • Desirable:

  • Programming languages / Cosmos
  • Working Conditions:

  • This position requires specific working hours and participating in ''on-call'' coverage with other members of the team to maintain our 24/7 support services.
