Location – Perth, Ontario Area

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $22.00/hour

Job Description Summary

We have a requirement for experienced Owner Operators for commercial cleaning for a larger box store running 7 days per week. Mostly 4 hours or less positions.

Shifts Available for Part-Time Positions:

• 4 hour shifts or less
  
• Early Morning
• Evening Shifts
  
• Night Shifts
  
• Weekend Shifts
  

Beneficial Experience:

• Grocery Store/Box Store floors and washrooms
  
• Floor Maintenance
  
• Use of 2-Speed scrubbers and burnishers
  
• Walk-Behiind floor scrubber/sweeper
  
• Dusting and disinfecting
  
• Washroom Cleaning, fixtures and floors
  
• Mopping techniques

• Valid insurance coverage
  
• Valid Drivers License
  
• Registered Business Number
  

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
  
• Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor (buffers) – as needed.
  
• Experience with single layer strip and buff and asset
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate.
  
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc.
  
• Monitor and report possible defects such as clogged urinals and non-working lights.
  
• Collect building trash daily placing it in approved container and place in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
  
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as required
  
• Any other duties as required.
  

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to communicate in English
  
• Must be able to lift 40lbs regularly
  
• Must have own transportation and minimum equipment
  
• Must be able to follow directions, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively
  
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
  
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
