SAP S/4HANA Logistics - Extended Warehouse Management (EWM with Logistics Execution (LE)

Montreal, Canada

Position Description:

The SAP S/4HANA EWM Manager / Leader will work closely to ensure that the project(s) are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the Client's satisfaction.

MUST have Aerospace and Defense industry experience

MUST be onsite in Montreal on weekly basis - Monday thru Thursday

100% travel for all employees.

Travel and expenses paid.

Must have fluency in French.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Ability to lead workshops with the client and discuss business processes, leading to best practices
Understanding of key business drivers and business benefits driven by SAP S/4HANA EWM
Ability to complete assign tasks and assist in the management of less experienced colleagues
Provide guidance on SAP and industry best practices warehouse process and functions
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution
Ability to manage and lead Blueprinting / Design / Discovery Workshops for SAP S/4HANA EMW and WM requirements and Fit / Gap analysis
Ability to understand the breadth and depth of the deliverables and how the solution fits into the larger picture.
Responsible for the functional aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation functional specifications, process flows, requirements traceability matrix Test Plans, etc.
Guides and troubleshoots during the testing and implementation
Responsible for defining and timely competition of required task with little or no assistance or oversight.
Exhibits the judgment as to when to ask for assistance
Ability to act as a lead resource for others on the team
Able to set and follow standards.
Keeps aware of relevant trends in the industry
Facilitates collaboration of other group(s) or individual(s) needed to solve/ resolve issues
Able to conduct presentations to audiences with diverse levels of SAP/Process awareness
Able to communicate with team members and clients in a clear, consistent, and professional manner.
Able to initiate communication and followup promptly and consistently.
Keeps the leadership (e.g. Project Manager, Team lead) informed.
Able to allocate time, prioritize tasks, and accurately scope tasks and phases of a project.
Suggests tools and processes needed to improve the ways of working
Reviews the team's deliverables for adherence to standards to ensure quality and consistency

Key Knowledge

3 8 years of
SAP WM project experience and must have
SAP S/4HANA EWM hands on configuration experience
Functional knowledge of the differences between Embedded SAP WM and S/4HANA EWM as well as Decentralized S/4HANA EWM
10+ years of
logistics consulting experience
Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models,
SAP S/4HANA EWM and wireless technologies
Must be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP WM and Non SAP WM solutions
Strong warehouse, distribution and transportation Logistics Business Process Knowledge and experience. APICS certification preferred
ABAP development skills a plus but not required
Strong analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively both internally and externally.
A selfstarter
Strong computer skills both Internet and desktop productivity tools

Specialized skills and Knowledge:

SAP PP / QM / APO product knowledge is a plus but not necessary
Must have 3 full lifecycle project experience in the role of functional EWM consultant
EWM training is a plus
Must have strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution business processes and best practices
Familiarity with enterprise mobility solutions and hardware
Provide accurate estimates, timeline and ability to selfdirect and mentor/manage teams and client.
Ability to be hands on if required and mentor junior team members
Knowledge of the new SAP Model Company a definite plus
Ability to leverage and build assets/accelerators and thought leadership
Bachelor degree or equivalent required
