PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:


As a Specialist, Data Receivables Management System & Analytics you will be responsible to perform data analysis to identify, communicate, and track issues related to the occurrence, completeness, and accuracy of revenue specifically within SAP S4 / BRIM.


This position will also help complete testing over system solutions to ensure identified problems are resolved at root cause, while enhancing the integrity over financial reporting as it pertains to the lead to cash value stream.

Control implementation to detect / prevent reoccurrence will be integral.


POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Learn, understand, and document the business processes while desegregating information within S4 and ECC, along with related data tables necessary to ensure revenue accurately flows through the lead to cash cycles
  • Review the accounting ledgers related to revenues and balance sheet transactions, identify discrepancies, and provide accounting support to correct it
  • Lead the analysis of large and complex data sets, solve complex problems while identifying unexpected errors occurring within S4 / BRIM, the associated root cause, and potential fixes to limit customer impact while ensuring financial reporting integrity over freight and accessorial revenue
  • Facilitate communication between the business and the IS team to ensure identified issues are triaged and addressed
  • Provide the expertise necessary to plan, conduct, and facilitate system testing to ensure successful deployment of IS solutions as they pertain to business processes
  • Identify, document, and highlight key challenges and improvement opportunities with action plans through the exploration of new perspectives within existing systems to facilitate the timely issuance of accurate and complete invoices for revenue that the company is entitled to
  • Produce reports, communicate, and present findings using data and visualization to senior leadership
  • Design and ensure operational effectiveness of account receivable controls to prevent or detect risk of inaccurate, incomplete, or nonexistent receivable transactions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • University or College Degree in Accounting and/or Degree in Data Science, BI or Analytics
  • Proven working experience in data analysis with 5 years of experience in the following skills:
  • Cleansing and preparing data
  • Analyzing and exploring data
  • Expertise in statistics
  • Analyzing and visualizing data
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Communication and writing
  • Expertise in the domain
  • Solutionoriented
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and the proven ability to handle complex datasets
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
  • Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, SAC, Power BI, R, o Python programming, and databases.
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysis
  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
  • Stong problemsolving skills, accuracy and attention to detail with excellemt teamworking skills
  • Strong facilitation, active listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sets of priorities and deliverables in a fastpace environment
