    As our new Senior/Principal Resource Geologist , you will join one of the largest, and most experienced teams of resource geologists globally.

    Job Description As a member of our Geology team, you will bring demonstrated skills and experience with geological modelling and mineral resource estimation (advanced Leapfrog skills are a must) in an exploration, mining, and/or corporate environment.

    In addition to strong technical skills you'll also have strong communication skills, and be able to deliver clear findings through meetings, technical reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical people.

    You will have a broad understanding of the mining industry and the interplay of the sector's technical, environmental, scientific, and financial disciplines.

    You will have some experience with project management, including technical scope development and proposal preparation, scope, schedule, and budget monitoring and adherence, and client relationship development and maintenance.

    Participation in the preparation of Technical Reports for public disclosure (NI and international equivalents)


    • Performance of due diligence reviews to support project financing, and mergers and acquisitions
    • Communication of project findings to technical and non-technical people in presentations and reports
    • Project management, including leadership of other geologists and third-party consulting groups
    • Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological findings and interpretations with those of other scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines
    • Ensuring successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
    • Relationship building with clients and service delivery excellence
    • Participation in internal and external training and mentorship opportunities
    Full-time, permanent role with flexible scheduling available (core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm; Advanced knowledge and experience using Seequent's Leapfrog Geo and Edge modelling software


    • Knowledge of an additional mining software package such as Datamine, Vulcan, Surpac, or Micromine is considered favourably
    • Experience with 3D geological modelling, data analysis, and drill planning
    • Undergraduate degree in geoscience.
